OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS

In collaboration with Fisahara, Sahara International Film Festival, we are developing a project for a photography group exhibition on the Festival's five past editions. Our intention is both to promote the work carried out by the Festival as well as to create international public awareness on the situation lived by the Saharan people in exile and their survival in the dessert waiting for the completion of the referendum for self-determination.

EXHIBITION FORMAT

A selection of 20/30 photos to be enlarged in large format creating a group show whose production and organisation will be dealt with from MASASAM - Spaces for Artistic Creation.

We ask the participating photographers to donate the selected image's copyrights for the exhibition. We intend to somehow sell the images in an auction or similar event. In case of sale, the money will be destined integrally in support of the Festival, with the photographer's consent. The edition of a catalogue is also contemplated. All photographs will be accredited with the photographer's information in all reproductions.

The exhibition will be part of an itinerary tour throughout Film Festivals apart from being presented at the Fisahara itself.
